01. TO THE BRIDE... Dedication

To: The Bride

Revelation 19:6-8 (The Message)

I heard the sound of massed choirs, the sound of a mighty cataract, the sound of strong thunder:

Hallelujah!
The Master reigns,
our God, the Sovereign-Strong!
Let us celebrate, let us rejoice,
let us give Him the glory!
The Marriage of the Lamb has come;
his Wife has made herself ready.
She was given a bridal gown
of bright and shining linen.
The linen is the righteousness of the saints.

Revelation 22:17 (Amplified Bible)
The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians) say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate, and drink the water of Life without cost.

Written to You

This book is written to “the Bride”. You are the Bride if you love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are not the Bride now, you may be one who is destined to love Him and serve Him in the future. God may be calling you in little or big ways to come into relationship with Him, wooing you into the cosmic romance of what He did for you by sending His Only Son to die in your place. God is love. Jesus is the Lamb.

Read this book in a meditative spirit (and prayer) and open your mind to everything the One True and Living God could be saying to you. What God speaks will be nothing less than revolutionary because the Bridegroom is also a Warrior and He wants you to join Him in the exciting battle for the souls of individuals. He passionately wars for your soul and the souls of those in your community every day. It is my hope that you will look around you and see what He is doing in your culture, in your health club, in your school, in your exercise class. If you are in doubt about anything in this book, bring it to God. It is not what I tell you that is important, what is important is that your worldview lines up with the Word of God. Ask God. Seek His Answers. Read and meditate on His Word.

If you are a Christian doing Yoga or are considering doing Yoga, this book will be very helpful to you. Here is the plan: I will tell you a little about my own personal experiences in the Yoga culture and why I hightailed it out of there. In light of God’s Word we will navigate through the muddy, cloudy waters of Christians and Yoga with the Holy Spirit and His gift of discernment as our pure and truthful guide with an attitude of adventure, joy and non-judgmentalism. Instead of advocating the stoic processes of avoidance and denial I will introduce Jesus’ way of filling to fullness and abundance of life through replacing "good" with God’s best.
